If you could just block with your weapon, there would really be no point in having a shield in the first place if you could just do that. Also, this seems kind of pointless to me since I doubt many people will bother un-equipping a shield/weapon. The only reasonable time I would un-equip a weapon is if i'm playing soccer and hell that doesn't come that much in handy. Spicing up fights by not using a weapon or shield would be cool, but we all know nobody is gonna try that in fear of losing or getting trash talked or just getting waaaay to cocky. It's a good concept, but I don't see THAT much of a benefit, especially if it's not gonna be used by players. But who knows? Maybe it'll be extremely popular ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That reminds me of when I joined browars and I was Canadian

I'm pretty sure Ruby Rose is as real as your homeschooling.

Look man, there is no need to put images like that on the forums, because that could lead to some problems. Insulting him is one thing, but putting stuff like that is just too far. People don't need to see that, and I honestly think that's sick what you posted.

I agree the fort is NOT a safe haven because of the glitches, but the spear thing is intended and so is the grenades and the rope thing. After all, you can't just camp there the whole time, so there has to be a way to make it fair. So i guess it's not really a safe haven... so scratch that point i made there ._.

So you asked me what specials are worse than an axes..... hmmm... that's actually a tough question. The spear's special is obviously worse (lololol) and the ice mage's special rarely ever hits, it doesn't provide much time to do damage, and you can still dash out of the way after you're frozen. And the bow special.... well thats basically just a regular shot but it does more damage but is much harder to land since you can't aim. So the axe special (in my personal opinion) is better than the spear's (lololol), the bow's, and the ice mage's. But yeah, i guess the axe's special can be fairly hard to hit. Im thinking of close combat where the axe special is important. I love seeing someone try to block my axe special and then have them immediately fall right back on the ground!

I'm tired of all of these topics about "THE AXE IS TOO UNDER POWERED" or "THE BOW IS TOO OP" or "THE SWORD IS OVER POWERED" or "GET RID OF THE ICE MAGE STAFF". I think lots of these weapons are quite balanced as long as you know how to use them, because this is a skill game. The point of this skill game is to develop a strategy at fighting with whatever kind of weapon you prefer (and feast on bones). I honestly believe someone using an ice mage staff can easily beat someone using a sword as long as they're experienced  and have a good tactic against the sword. I honestly think a spear can beat a bow user easily if they have the skill and..... patience. Lots of patience. So what I think is that an axe can beat any weapon with ease, you just have to know it, have experience with it, know how to fight other weapons, and most of all PROTECT IT LIKE IT'S YOUR CHILD!!!!!!! (i'm not talking about specials specifically)

The axe's special move is actually quite useful if you know when to use it. It knocks you down even if you try to block it or roll or kick and you'll be on the ground for a while. The axe's main attack is more powerful than the sword, the ice mage staff, the bow, the claws, and the spear. The axe can take away 1/4 of your health with one swing, so seeing as how you can get in two hits off if you stun someone, you can take away half of a person's health. Just because the axe is the starter weapon for new players doesn't mean it's not good, because I consider it to be one of the best weapons for professionals.

The axe also comes with the ability to chop tress and collect wood. In fact, the axe is the only weapon that can do that. Wood can repair forts (forts are basically a safe-haven), it can act as fuel for campfires to heal you, and it's good for trading for gold or other items. Lots of quests you get depend on using an axe specifically, too. So the axe is already incredibly useful for how you play in-game. I can go on and on about how good an axe can be, but the point I'm trying to get at is that I don't feel the need to beef up a weapon that's already so good. But I guess it's all subjective :/

lol yeah i'd rather do something other than sit around and do boring waiting so that I can get a better benefit.

My game just freezes in general. It has nothing to do with my connection, it's just because I have a shitty computer.

lol i upvoted all of the comments sheep downvoted
