The reason is simple - I cannot put ads in a downloadable game - and gold sales are very low. Meaning - if the game would gain traction on Steam - it would fill up servers without gaining any revenue for which I could buy more servers.

Yeah tho - do you realize like 20 minutes waiting times then? It was like that in the beginning - only registered players could play football.

What kind of strategies do you mean beside camping to trap someone in a never ending fallen-down state?

I think the most of developers dream of making a full blown story driven games - which unfortunately are very costly to make due to high demand for content. Which is multiplied if we are talking about massive multiplayer game.
So it was possible for Undertale - because the game is rather simple and singleplayer - still I bet developer spent around two years of life making it. It was possible for Diablo - because they have a big team. It is not possible for Wilds - because it doesn't earn enough to hire additional staff and I am already spent with my time caring about what we already have.

That would be financial / time reasons - the other reason is that the game is designed to be a fun massive battle arena - adventure game would suffer from inability to gather experience, buy equipment in traditional way and distributing players over a vast open space.

I think I can add a box
[ x ] I don't want to play with guests.

The bow has been added to armory.

I have decided that I want to have long term goal (coins). They prefer short term. One is good for keeping players hooked with the game for a long period of time - the other increases session duration.

Doesn't it mean you are trying to abuse your enemy when he tries to get up? Otherwise why would you be standing in his fire range?

ps: it's not invulnerability (it doesn't work against mines) - it just sustains fallen status for 0.5 sec after getting up

I will take care of it but I would like to hear more opinions.

What makes you unsatisfied? I have brought football back.

The problem with non competitive score approach is that after a while TOP 100 is settled and it barely changes over time. You are never going to catch up with grinders that started to play the game X months ago.

So either we make it competitive and add leaderboards for casual mode.
Or we make it like agar.io where you level up no matter how bad you are but then there isn't much sense in adding leaderboards.
