After nerf once i got used to it I mostly used it when players were either too bad to even try blocking, tried to roll/kick me, failed to block or as greedy rangers shooting me in meele range, not really for what names suggests. I will have to play new version to elaborate more about current charge.


When you charge you always risk getting stunned then getting hit and knocked for about similiar value of damage and potentially more from enemies rolling again on you. When you shoot helping your allies or simply strafe you don't really risk anything other than getting hit with dagger when meele guy decides its more worthy to deal 4/16dmg to you than play it safe. Block and kick are simply too punishing and can be used one after another which causes me to use basic attack only when I have dash ready or enemy expects me to stay charging charge attack. When you go pew pew pew with wand you don't risk getting your weapon lost for 15s, when you snipe with bow too. You can keep distance and keep trying to damage enemy with no risk and play it safe using rolls, kicks and shieldbashes when enemy comes too close.


When you charge into group of people and they are newbs then sure you will do lots of damage that bow or wand can't deal. But when someone does block in that group then you can get gangbanged by basic attacks in seconds or killed with one landmine, granted you have 14/16hp when its laid down. Right now charge might be good for farming bones because majorty of players you encounter are bad at the game, 6 months later we for example get much bigger playerbase that is decent in game - maybe then out of sudden wands, bows and whatever Rez might add later will be best for farming bones? We do nerf cycle again then? :]

Dash was first that allowed it and it was mentioned many times already. :P

Thing is, when you attack then you attack area, not targets so walls would need to be much, much bigger.

So true, few good bowmen were hard to kill even before nerf to charge. Apparently bow requires most skill compared to all other weapons in this game.

If that helps - crash only happens when someone in your FOV throws grenade, so probably it have something to do with grenades appearing or how they appear or with last frames of throwing animation.

IMO axe is not getting much, if any love from Rez. Sledgehammer is quirky like axe, but more versalite and is only weapon to charge meele from above without falling on the dirt, still most bones are from killing many players rather than kings so sword is usually way to go.

Depends on time of day, bugged grenades seem to keep some players away from playing now.

I guess weapon will have to gain size a lot like shield when blocking.

If archer is good enough/lucky at shooting, then meele guy will either have to slow down dodging it, block/kick which still slows him down or take hit to face. When meele guy wants to attack someone not willing to engage them now they have mostly either to charge/whirlwind, which can be easily blocked or roll, which can be countered too. If you have mine and know how to utilize it then you can punish stunned players dearly which is especially useful for rangers. Keep in mind that you don't need to face enemy to succesfully counter, block or roll through him, this can give you the speed you might have lacked.


I agree that whirlwind should not make sword figher invicible(to ranged attacks at least IMO), I even personally asked about it Rezoner on our Polish version of digg.com but he did not answer that sadly. I still think that you should take damage from thrown weapons, daggers, arrows and ice shards while performing this or sledgehammer special attack.

People in game report that they lose items they buy, Egzekutor reported that days ago, but Rezoner did not fix this yet. Met bunch of people asking where are their weapons now already today.
