both your idea and seals' s idea from the comments are good

the only issues i can see is people who wont play for weeks because they want to play on certain maps(your idea) and too big maps with too little players(seals's idea)

not anything very useful, you can only create one or join one. A tribe has a unlimited member count, a score and a place on the political map. The greater your tribe score is, the bigger it looks on the map. Remember that you must have a certain amount of bones to appear on the map, because the land is divided by percentage
