Also, the map accounted for that lenght of jumps. Certain sections of the CTF map now don't make any sense. The big pit in the upper part of the map has no actual use at this point, you can't go beyond that pit, you have to go down.
Also, people are going outside the map!

I would have to choose where I should jump that way instead of being able to always jump that way. That's a lot more fair than limiting the lenght of run-jumps.
I mean, I would have to think about it tactically.

Have you tried to propose yourself to letsplayers directly?
I must say, I discovered your game in the most random way possible, browsing patreon channels, which isn't common at all. It's kinda difficult getting to know this game, maybe you should 1-advertize yourself more with flashier videos 2-reach out popular channels asking for opinions.

Well, I think it's better if you ask instead of waiting for complaints. Many users don't know there is such a thing as a forum (you can see from the way they write in the chat, In fact I'd suggest to put the "vote features" button below the menù, because at first I also didn't notice that button was there, I reached the forum through google search first).
I saw many other players trying to reach the platform without success. It was just a common thing to see, and it added a layer to the map.

Then you should change the way stamina works. If jumps eat stamina it wouldn't be a problem. If jumps + run eat more stamina than normal jumps it wouldn't be a problem either. But to change the lenght of run + jump is not a good choice imo.

Yes but I think you are doing a mistake.
I would tell you: don't care too much about noobs, because they'll learn. If you change the mechanics of the game too much (and my playing style is entirely based on jumping "athletically", so you literally axed my legs, and not only my legs but those of others) you get a game that is pleasing at first and fucking boring later.

I get that you want more players, but this way you finish to make aficionados run away because of costant changes in the core balance of the game. There was an "arena" quality to those jumps, and you could really see the difference between players that "get" the game and to look upon for inspiration, and players that still have to learn. And it's not like I couldn't be stopped. Many, many times newbs were able to kill me even if I had much more experience than they had.

You should improve mechanics without destroying the core fundamentals, otherwise the game loses spirit.
And frankly, it's really tedious for me to change completely playing style because that would "cannibalize" newbs. I'm sorry but I don't have to lose something because newcomers are crybabies. At first I was shit at the game, but It was good, I liked it and I learned and developed a personal style.
It might have been a very light choice for you, but this simple change makes me consider to abandon the game, because I foresee worse in the future.
Think of Dark Souls. Your game has a lot more in common with it than a COD. They are completely different games, but you can see the difference between a game that has quality and one that wants to attract users by "helping" them way too much.

I think you have to chosee between wanting to make a fucking wonderful game (which it has potential to be) that has a dedicated base, or a fucking mediocre one that attracts newbs for a short span of time (kinda like the fate of agar.io, who plays that anymore?) and then loses them because it isn't neither fish nor meat.
Thank you for listening.

I jumped like I usually did and I couldn't reach the platform. It counted as a normal jump.

Actually, I just experienced the same. It isn't actually slowed down, if you're running and you jump at the crest of the pit, for some reasons it's not a longer-faster jump anymore but a normal one. I tried to jump, in the CTF map, like I usually do and I couldn't do anything else but dying. because I couldn't reach the platforms at the center of the map.

Another bug: in CTF, regardless of which button I clicked, I could only spawn in the grey team. I was in the Brown team, and after death I just couldn't come back.

Was the overal speed of animations changed? Everything feels a lot slower.
Also, in the CTF map there's a bug: it's now possible to walk outside the map.
