Simple solution to mirage madness

Moms Spaghetti 7 years ago updated 7 years ago 5

Since there seems to be a lot of buzz about the mirage potion, and wilds is starting to look like space1.io, I would like to propose a fairly simple solution: decrease the health of the clones. The simple fact that these clones take as many hits as the owner does not make much sense to me, and decreasing the health to even 2, 3, 4, health would make a big difference as killing them would be easier short range and long range clones can also be killed or at least controlled to some extent by kicking back projectiles.

This will give opportunities for less advanced players to be able to kill the clones, and is a easy fix to this problem because it keeps the players from wildly spamming long range because they will have to pay more attention to the health of their clones. This will also turn the clone potion to sort of a short-term potion because it will make the clones so easy to kill.

Please consider this solution.

I think a 6-health clone would be perfectly viable, but much lower and people will stop using it. I already actively avoid using the clone potion while i'm on melee, and only use it when i'm trying to build a firing squad, because otherwise it's more trouble than it's worth, and it's definitely not worth another health potion exchange at the shop.

Which leads me to say that the mine is probably the weakest and least used items out there, it needs a rework.

Problem generally is with bowmans because with few clones they can kill you with one shot. I know few players which only stay on map top and farm mirage potions. And when you try kill such player he run away.

Newbies had hard job with bowmans but now they is just unkillable for new player.

maybe a limited lifetime for clones

like after 1 minit or even less the clone will dye

minit? dye? Es Thad Am Nuw Englesh?

But then thats the same as it having less health
