I think I know why, the Football game mode games can go on longer than you think if the timer is not hitting 0

thus resulting in SO MANY BONES being dropped by players.

RATTLE ME BONES! lol.

But anyways, if you want proof just go and look at it for yourself, try to keep a 0-0 football game going.

I got a bug before making a account: We was playing football and it was 0-0. So ball disappeared but everybody was spawning and fighting. when timer was -30:00 i got 163.370 pts.

This is probably due to football bone farming. Which was already reported here in detail by me and Just Bo, but hasn't been addressed by Rezoner. Which only gives people info and opportunity to keep doing the exploit. Not that it affects anything much, but it's pointless to have the ranking system then.
