Guilds - Individualized Tags
Topic of Interest: People have been asking for guilds for some time, why not solve this issue by adding a small text box next to the players name to type in a short guild tag (making it claimable), allowing other guild members to identify their own members in-game. Making guilds themselves cost coins would be rather annoying, especially if it is individual payment to join. Giving tags to the game could make guilds possible, while leaving the choice of chat system/location to meet up to the creator(s) of the guild. Large guilds such as the Vigilantes have over 50+ members and adding tags would make in-game identification much easier.
Answer
All comments and likes are greatly appreciated, I am hoping this forum post becomes reality and implanted in the game. It would be very helpful for existing and future guilds in Wilds.io.
It is only a simple tag, it can be claimed and secured by a simple password entry to receive access to the tag. That is a very good question though, never thought of that.
Rumors have been going around that people want guilds to cost coins, which I frown upon that idea.
+1
I already mentioned this when I talked about the possibility to implement a Castle (or something similar, reasonable and playable). This will be soooooooooo interesting in order to achieve a real competitiveness.

I personally believe that you were talking about something else, in that post you mentioned simple guild logos. I am mentioning a single name tag, not much as logos.
Yep, I also mentioned in that topic that it was only an idea which could be modified. First of all I think the most important thing is "putting into groups" people who want to play together (guilds). Using logo, single name, flag, lights, lasers... is a Rezoner's decision. I agree the simpliest way is adding a simple name tag, obviously, nobody is going to refuse that.
Btw, how do you "manage" your guild right now? and also, how do you know there are more guilds?
In addition, I have colleagues, veteran friends and we respect each other even fighting ourselves. However, when we are in the same "team", we don't go together to clean the map, that would be really boring.
To be honest, I was thinking about achieving goals together (Conquer - defend for example), not only creating a gang to get together and abuse the rest of players.
I manage my guild in an orderly fashion, respect, skill, and integrity - do as you are told for the better of the Wilds.io community. Do your best, regardless of flaws.

"The Vigilante Gaming Guild is much more than a so-called, 'guild.' Our members are dedicated to doing their best, for themselves and the community. We recruit only elite members, based not just on skill but on their potential to change Wilds.io for the better. This is our 'guild' way, we will stay strong and never back down." – The Vigilantes
We have over 60+ members in our guild and recruit 1-5 people every day.
Wonderful, I'm glad for you, but that is not what I asked you at all. Sorry if I didn't explain myself properly.
I asked you about how you control, supervise, talk, communicate, know the people is/is not connected, etc.
Perhaps do you have a forum/skype/teamspeak/web? I doubt it. Nowadays, there is no "guild member panel" where you can "manage" that, not even talk in private with your "group", how you do it?
Thanks, finally.
I've never used Discord, I didn't know it about that, sorry. That is the reason why I didn't undertand you ingame last week. I knew about the button in the login view but I've never paid attention to it hahaha
I used to play through private Teamspeak, internal forums, webs and obviously "Control panel (tools)" from the own game.
Nice, It would be wonderful if finally Rez set up "Guilds". However I still thinking about to be careful with creating a gang to get together and abuse the rest of players... maybe it is not the best for the game.
Out of curiosity, how many other guilds are wanting this feature other than the vigilantes?
The new ArcheMage guild is rather small and inexperienced, I would assume they would benefit from this addition. Instead of it benefiting us, it would sprout growth to others to start guilds.
Guilds / clans are high in my priority list right now. The things I am currently trying to resolve is how to make the guilds comparable to each other.
Let's say we have guild of 100 weak players and 10 best of.
Now what should we take into account measuring guild performance
Without comparison there is nothing competitive about guilds.
How about gold? Maybe we can make it competitive by letting players get "Guild points" Which for each 3v3 or 1v1 you get 10 guild points or less. So maybe we can possibly. OR we can do it via how much gold a guild can collect. And in order to make this fair the more players the less guild points etc.
This is exactly my point. The vigilantes basically have everyone, why try to make a new clan, it will never take off.
