Sand Worms - Are They Overpowered?

Topic of Interest: Sand worms have been in Wilds.io since the removal of the desert map and are large worm shaped monsters that burrow in the ground to the nearest player and come up from below and kill the player with one swift strike. The only ways to avoid sand worms are by seeking cover by a wall or running away from the movement animation of the worm. Currently there is no possible way to kill the immortal sand worm and has been a topic I have always wanted to talk about.


Possible Solution: As most players know, two out of the four weapons have super-attacks that make contact with the floor to inflict damage to player(s). Why not make the axe and hammer do a slight amount of damage, while making the explosive bomb dealing 50% damage to the worm. The damage would only be counted if it hits the worms underground animation perfectly (and not dying at the time you hit the worm). For the explosive bomb, the worm would have to be within the damage radius. Depending on how close the worm is to the central detonation point, it would vary on how much damage is done.

Allright I will make sandworms killable - although it will not be the highest priority task. I will let you know when this is ready - tho I will not tell you how to kill them exactly so you can have fun discovering it.

Again, this is an idea since not much as been changed for the worm in quite some time. I thought it would be nice to spark some possible changes.

Exactly why is it bad to bump a post that was never successfully completed?

He just said that he won't tell us how to kill them exactly, so we have to discover how by ourselves...though the fact he said he will tells us...have we not noticed?...In my own theory he did add a way, sometimes when I enter each server the worm disappears (could be a bug), and occasionally the worm just 'poofs to thin air' when I go on it...or when an ogre does...

Thanks to Grant Mitchell, now we see Rezoner didn't make sand worms killable as he promised 11 months ago. I'm so salty today.
