The CTF guide

So, I love the new CTF gamemode, but sometimes teammates are frustrating when they pull moves that are counter-intuitive to the team. So, I'm going to make a guide on what to do and what not to do! BTW the map is annotated in grey's prospective, just do the opposite for brown.

Evidently, the image at the bottom of this post is the zoomed-out CTF map that's been all marked up by multicolored lines. Blue lines represent popular traffic routes. The fastest routes go through the center of the map, these are called "push routes". They are used in a frontal assault to try to break defenses, advance the front line, and ultimately capture the enemy's flag. The arrows that go through the top and bottom lanes of the map are called "flank routes". They are slower to traverse, but have the advantage of being able to attack from an unpredictable angle and sandwich defenses.

Zones marked in green are the best spots to hang out. Stay in the two central green zones to defend your turf from a frontal assault and kill players before they can reach your flag. These zones are situated behind the spike fields, as enemies will be reluctant and vulnerable when trying to push trough the spikes. However, while defending there, make sure you're ready for them to take a side route across the floating platforms. Play in the green zones situated in the two lanes to the top and bottom of center in order to catch flankers or to utilize a more passive defense: Once the enemy has stolen your flag, you can use the windows to rotate across to either lane or the center to intercept them.

Yellow zones marked on the map are places where loot can be found. Visit (or camp at) these places to pick up items, health, and armor.

Red zones are places you should NEVER HANG OUT. They are out of the way of the objective or vulnerable to attacks that corner you. You can always be at a better place then a red zone. Yes, this includes your flagroom. PLEASE DON'T SIT ON THE FLAG IN A DEFENSE ATTEMPT. ALWAYS defend at a green zone. This way, the enemies will have to go through you twice in order to secure your flag, and you won't be caught chasing them in vain.

So, that's about it. Don't underestimate the power of a following teammate. Remember how important the windows are, they let you through to the flank routes from the center and back. Utilize the environment; kick opponents into fissures, spikes, poles, and razor doors. Other than that, the only thing you can do to improve your game is practice combat.

Comments below, how'd I do?

My question is: how much did you scroll down to see it all? :V

Polish users will know what I mean.
