How about adding a Poison bottle (with a little skull) into the game?

You pick up a Poison bottle and throw it at an enemy. The enemy's health would slowly go down 2 - 3 bars. It depends on how accurately you threw it.

Or you could poison your axe.

poisoning your axe is a better idea

One time use, no use on knives, does a half point more damage on the next hit.

i thought that it will make the basic axe attack dill one more dmg point for few sec

But only one time use per fight if not 2 hits to kill someone
