There is no point in adding more health. Just players will live a little longer.
no there would be more mistake forgiveness. As if you make one mistake like forgetting to roll instead of attacking you get half your hp chopped.

I think current hp is good balanced comparing to all attacks in game. This is good base and with this we can building the rest, like new weapons and items dmg, etc.
