New wall type - palisade
Hello as I said in the previous post about paths, Here it is the result of my work on a new type of walls / fences.
I think it can be to design small camps with this walls, or do it through better spawns.
Opportunities abound. Tell me what you think about it, what can be improved or what to add, and whether you like the idea. Also for your opinion Rez ;]

Maybe, but trees could be useful not like unemployed dossers :D If it could become craftable, to break it you have to hit it 3 times. To craft it you just have to bring it up (idk how it could be brought, i'm still thinking about
this) and place it if you have full stamina and you've fulled charge. This could give some players to guard themselves, but could become troll in C(/W)TF.
This can be problematic because the players will be able to block important places. We should also remember that it is a hack'n'slash: P
Count all trees what you can go to them on Ruins map and CTF map. On second one i've found only two, but in place that you can't go without climb up cheat. On CTF you don't have a second of rest before you will see next enemy/ies who want to kill you or you want to kill them. On ruins there must be more trees to do those log...ergh...palisades. Do you have any proposition how many time to respawn?
I think as an ordinary wall / palisade fence will work best. You can also add more trees on the map for better effect.
I'm still waiting for the opinion of the Rezoner because I do not know whether to continue drawing and do more segments. building palisades manually can distract players from the game which is to fight other barbarians.

Before the battle? Why players can't craft it? In players world there are many of players who like(or love) crafting, so let them do it! But spawning them in random places before the battle is bad idea for me. Just place maaaany trees on CTF and Ruins maps, and palisades can exist. About distraction, maybe they can be destroyed immediately by roll with damage penalty, and one player can place only 3 of them?(to avoid citadels and castles ^^)
You misunderstood me. In my idea I mean that palisade will work like a normal wall, and it can not be moved or destroyed. It would be an alternative to an ordinary wall.
Your idea is interesting but it seems to me that too much to deviate from the principles of the game. But that's just my opinion. I would like to hear something more from the others about this idea :)
Ah, ok. Then palisades could exist in forest map (people was talking about green map, because of green piece of it in CTF map) to make forest climate better :P
But i will stay on my idea with palisades to craft and place ;)
Sure, this can also be use in forest map. Maybe in future Rez add posibility to make small baricades xD
Or maybe a new mode? Something like Build and Fight? This would be very cool. First you are in team and building fortress from trees around map. Then fight starts and team needs to destroy fortress of enemy.
Interesting idea, but if it could become primary for Rez, to do really good Build and Fight we could don't see changes in 2-3 months.
The barricades created could also be destroyed tho, it wouldn't be hard to add a 10 hp on them once implemented in the game, This gives the sense of temporary protection, but let's other players get through.

Well I go back to the drawing and for some time I post the results of my work under this post.
