Remove guests from football

Not sure which server you are playing on, but on USA server its pretty much play with guests or don't play.

I'm sure the guests will be a temporary thing until more dedicated interest in football is established. The problem is without guests, you don't get players, and therefore you can't get anyone interested in football because there are no games. You have to start a player base somehow.

Would that option have an effect on rankings? Methinks playing with guests might be easier to win games for experienced players

agree. football is full of newbs and the worst thing is that half of them go afk once the game starts which makes the game unplayable. lots of pros have already quit because of that.

You could make it so guests can only play with other guests. Like it drops guests into a separate room.

Yeah tho - do you realize like 20 minutes waiting times then? It was like that in the beginning - only registered players could play football.

You can reduce the size of the field by a little bit and make it 3vs3, so you would need only 6 players to get in. Then also decrease the match duration from 10 mins to 5, or even 3 mins. That would make the queue time shorter.

Matchmaking could be like this:
1) Guests + registered users with levels < 3

I would give it a try on EU and see what happens. Just please do something to make football more enjoyable for both new players and the ones who would like to play more competitively.

Also, the current team balancing system is a bit off. I suppose it's currently like:

1st (highest rank) + 3rd + 5th + 7th
vs
2nd + 4th + 6th + 8th

but, to make it more fair, it should rather be like

1st + 4th + 6th + 8th

vs
2nd + 3rd + 5th + 7th

Nevertheless, it's pretty boring to play against the same guys again and again, so, if it were up to me, I would disable it and just shuffle the teams before the game starts to make them random.

This has to be done! Only registered players should be able to join football matches.

I made a similar topic about creating custom queue rooms without seeing this thread first. Sorry about that. Anyway, if there's a way to create a queue room where only invited players could queue that could make for better games. I don't really care for stomping guests and upping my win count. Just want to have fun and suspensful games.

Alternatively, create a queue that only registered players can join. Europe side servers since those are the most accessible to a highest number of players. This one doesn't seem so hard to implement.
