When joining a ranked game, the screen splits

When I join, the screen where the actual gameplay happens is on the right, and a freeze frame is on the left. This makes my mouse uncalibrated with the game and makes it really unpleasant to look at. I am using double monitors so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
