as a JS developer I know how hard this can be, but maybe it's time for a new engine. The game is a lot bigger they it used to be, community wise and content wise. Just a thought.
True, but I wonder how much the game would change. I have just started getting used to the new mechanics, and while I still don't like them 100%, it would be a dissapointment if it was to change drsatically again.
I will probably switch to 3D with the next project. All the assets are 3D anyway - although
1) It's too late to rewrite this project - and I don't want to spend my life with it
2) The better graphics I put there - the more people don't like it - I guess people expect IO games to be vector crap :)
Maybe in the future. It is possible - but I want to focus on mechanics now. I have learned my lesson - Skins were most requested feature but it doesn't do that much good for the game - neither reception nor sales are great
